Spotlight – “Scott Warren”
I’m Scott, I grew up around cars and for as long as I can remember it was seeing my dad’s passion for Porsches that was the inspiration for me to learn more about these unique cars. From a simple oil change to a complete engine rebuild, I worked with my dad and learned what it took to maintain these daily drivers. Later down the road my dad bought his 911 and the 944 I’d helped to maintain became mine and, I’ve nurtured it since. Whether it’s driving around town; cruising the back roads or out on the track, being behind the wheel of my 944 is my “fun thing” to do. With amazing balance and superb handling, it’s like a go-kart that sticks to the road. Though there’s so much I like about it, the handling of this car is one of the main reasons I was drawn to it.
About me
I work for the department of surgery at Washington University Medical School and oversee the Credentialing and Enrollment team. I’m a board member for the State of Missouri Association Medical Staff Services (MOAMSS) and, outside of driving my car, I enjoy camping, hiking and occasionally rock climbing. I grew up most of my life in St. Louis, and though I’ve moved away a few times, St. Louis continues to bring me back.
