These are the OEM wheels featured on the 1957 Mercedes Benz 190 SL, shown here in “Fire Red” or, as pronounced in German: “Feuer Rot”. This Mercedes is quite a classic and has received numerous awards including “Art of the Car Concours”, the St. Louis European Auto Show, and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. As you would imagine on a car from the 1950’s, this classic did not come with the familiar disc brakes of today, but drum brakes, all around. Mercedes Benz Club Members Rick & Patti Siefert run the Vredestein Sprint Classic tires for these wheels which are 6.40’ x 7” (640/700) SR 13’s.
