These are the 20” O.Z. Racing “Ultraleggera HLT” (twin six-spoke) wheels in Red and, shown here on the 2016 Porsche GT4. The Ultraeggera HLT is widely accepted as the most popular 6-spoke racing wheel with a design that was inspired by Formula 1 racing. If you have already reviewed “Justha Wheels” #6, you will also notice that these wheels, though obviously quite different, are actually on the same car. That is because, for this shoot, owner Jim Smith decided to mount the Red Ultraleggera HLT wheels on the right side of the car and, the“Black Satin” OEM wheels on the left. Jim runs either the Michelin SP2 or, as shown here; the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires for the track. The wheels are 8.5” x 20” (245/35R20) in the front and, 11” x 20” 295/30R20) in the rear. A bit of trivia: In some of the photos you might be wondering about a yellow dot on the tire. Apparently, it is near impossible to create a tire that is perfectly round and balanced so the yellow dot is placed there by the manufacturer to help technicians locate the balance point.
