Spotlight – “Dr. J.M. Dodd”

Fast forward to a crisp September Sunday, not so many years ago, as I pulled into the coffee shop parking lot for my last “first date”. I was driving a Buick Lucerne, V-8 with a landau top. Patiently waiting in jacket and jeans, with arms and legs crossed, he leaned against his Porsche 911. I was smitten. That he happened to be smart, funny and excel at everything he did, certainly didn’t help matters. A fateful day indeed – and the gauntlet had been cast. Soon after, I spied this little Audi TTS. It was love at first sight and the test drive sealed the deal – it handled beautifully, and it fit me like a glove. Game Over. Driving has never been so. much fun; neither has a relationship. It’s good to have men in my life who keep me challenged.

About me

I love a good challenge. Always have. My friends might describe me as intense, though I prefer to regard myself “competitive”. It’s simply my nature. Perhaps it has something to do with a big brother whose eleven-month lead in life, has always kept me on my toes. That he happened to be smart, funny, and excel at everything he did, certainly didn’t help matters. So, I’d say the stage really was set from the start.
